The planoconvex shape is minimizing the spherical aberration for imaging a distant object or focusing a laser beam.

These lenses are working close to diffraction limit when the focal length is exceeding 10 times the beam diameter.

We offer uncoated lenses, as well as visible 400-700 nm AR coated BK7 lenses and near infrared 700-1100 nm AR coated BK7 lenses
